Diagnostics waiting times & activity data, month ending 28 February 2010.
The monthly data published today gives the waiting times for 15 key diagnostic tests carried out in the NHS.

Main findings this month
·       The number of patients, for whom English commissioners are responsible, waiting over 6 weeks for any one of the 15 key diagnostics tests at the end of February 2010 was 3,500, a decrease of 3,600 (50.5%) from January 2010, and a decrease of 200 (6.1%) from February 2009.
·       The number of patients, for whom English commissioners are responsible, waiting over 13 weeks for any one of the 15 key diagnostics tests at the end of February 2010 was 516, compared to 599 in January 2010, but a fall of 358 (41.0%) from February 2009.
